Retired Navy SEAL Higbie: Trump Must Appeal to Taxpayers in Third Debate

Donald Trump must show how much he can save American taxpayers by employing a little theatrical razzle-dazzle during the final presidential debate.

That's the advice of Carl Higbie, a retired Navy SEAL and spokesman for Great America PAC, which supports the real-estate tycoon.

Higbie said Wednesday to Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV's "America Talks Live" that Trump "needs to start articulating his policies better."

"I think there'd be no better way for him to do that for him to come into this third debate with two paychecks each for $6,000," Higbie said.

"One has the deductions from Hillary Clinton's tax plan. One has the deductions from Donald Trump's tax plan. He shows the American people here's the difference in our presidency.

"If you want me, you want this bigger paycheck, pick me. You want this lesser paycheck, pick Hillary Clinton. That in itself will set it apart above and beyond any attack he can possibly perform on Hillary Clinton."

Higbie is author of the book "Enemies, Foreign and Domestic: A SEAL's Story," written with Brendan Caro and published by Post Hill Press.
