The leakers, not the media, are to blame for reporting information leaked from the grand jury proceedings involving Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, former federal prosecutor Bruce Reinhart said Tuesday on "America’s Forum" on
Newsmax TV.
"The whole purpose of grand jury secrecy is to prevent unfairness to the people either under investigation or the people who serve on the grand jury,” he said. “But as a reporter, I would think you have an obligation to report what you have learned and it's not the media's fault that they're reporting what they were reporting, it's the people in the process's fault that they're allowing leaks to occur."
