Catholic Journalist: US Bishops Call Timeout on Disputes With Pope

A U.S. bishops conference in Baltimore this week is not likely to renew the doctrinal battles seen at last month's "extraordinary" synod on family issues in Rome — but arguments unleashed by the free-speaking Pope Francis are far from settled, Brad Miner, senior editor the news and commentary website The Catholic Thing, told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV on Monday.
