Abortion is a "milestone" in a modern moral debate about providing protection for a person from the moment of conception until death, filmmaker and human rights activist Jason Jones told
Newsmax TV's "America's Forum."
Jones said protecting the "child in the womb" was at the core of the "race to save our century," adding that if abortion was allowed to continue, civilization would collapse into "tyranny, war, and genocide."

"The abortion debate . . . [is] an objective milestone that we should seek full legal protection for the human person, from the moment of their biological beginning through natural death," Jones said Friday.
While the popular conception was that the entertainment industry was filled with progressives and liberals, Jones said many producers and actors had thanked him "for speaking out for the pre-born." He predicted a "radical, dramatic shift in how our country treats abortion" in the next 10 to 15 years.
Jones has written a book,
"The Race to Save Our Century," where he outlined five principles of the modern era that included "the dignity of the human person," the "transcendent moral order," the distance between institutions and people, private property rights, and "the idea that our personal actions should correspond with the common good."
Jones said from his own experience, he learned the "loss for the respect for the sanctity of the human person was causing so much sorrow around the world."
