Newsmax Panel: Americans' Post 9/11 Civil Liberties Not Impinged

Americans' post 9/11 civil liberties have been slightly altered, but remain intact, left-leaning and right-leaning political commentators Rick Ungar and Javier Manjarres agreed Friday on Newsmax TV's "America's Forum."

"There needs to be a tradeoff here and we have a lot of civil liberties which we're all appreciative of, but after 9/11, things changed," said Manjarres. "The whole dynamics of how the world functions changed and our civil liberties were at risk. Now the tradeoff here is national security."
