Forbes Scribe: Pols Gorged on Cash Like Kids on Halloween Candy

Politicians spent as much money on campaigning during the midterm elections as Americans do on Halloween candy, Forbes contributor Carrie Sheffield told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.

Sheffield said on Newsmax's "The Steve Malzberg Show" that $2 billion was shelled out on campaign expenses — just as much as was spent on candy during the 2014 Halloween season.
