President-elect Donald Trump has officially settled the score on three fraud lawsuits against his now-defunct Trump University, handing over $25 million, CNNMoney reported.
The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative – which used to be known as Trump University – delivered the payment Wednesday, lawyers for the plaintiffs told the outlet.
The settlement was reached in November, and as part of the deal, Trump University did not accept wrongdoing or fault.
Under terms of the settlement, $21 million goes to former students of Trump University in California, where two class-action lawsuits were filed.
Four million dollars goes to a lawsuit filed in New York by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who once described the operation's actions the "hallmark if snake-oil salesman," according to the N.Y. Daily News.
