President Donald Trump fights hardest at his “weakest point,” BET founder Robert Johnson said Wednesday during an appearance on CNBC.

Johnson, America’s first black billionaire, supports Trump and has since he won the presidency in 2016.

"One thing I've learned about President Trump is that when you think he's at his most weakest point, that's when he goes hard," Johnson said on CNBC's "Squawk Box."

Trump on Wednesday claimed victory for people who worked with him, saying “they did very well” in their midterm election efforts.

"Those that worked with me in this incredible midterm election, embracing certain policies and principles, did very well," Trump tweeted.

"Those that did not, say goodbye! Yesterday was such a very Big Win, and all under the pressure of a Nasty and Hostile Media!

Tuesday’s election gave a split decision to Democrats and to Trump, with Democrats winning the House of Representatives by a 220-193 margin as early as Wednesday morning – 21 seats are still undecided – while Republicans kept control of the Senate.

Johnson said Trump will likely work with Democrats on healthcare, drug pricing and immigration, per CNBC.
