Thousands of official "The Walking Dead" T-shirts have been pulled from shelves after a shopper complained it was "fantastically offensive," BBC reported.

The shirt has the words "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe" scrawled across the front and features a baseball bat with barbed wire wrapped around it and specks of blood on it.

In the show, a character uses the rhyme to pick out his next victim.

The rhyme, which has been around since the 18th century, has a racist version which contained a racial slur, substituting the N-word for "tiger" in the phrase "catch a tiger by the toe."

Ian Lucraft was so offended by the shirt he sent a letter to the chief executive of the store selling the product, Primark.

"It is directly threatening of a racist assault, and if I were black and were faced by a wearer I would know just where I stood," he told The Star.

Primark pulled the product immediately.

"The T-shirt in question is licensed merchandise for the US television series, 'The Walking Dead,' and the quote and image are taken directly from the show," Primark said in a statement.

"Any offense caused by its design was wholly unintentional and Primark sincerely apologies for this. Primark has removed the product from sale."
