America's subway trains are the next target for al-Qaida in the next edition of its Inspire magazine, The Washington Times reported.
"Derail Train Operations" is the headline on Issue No. 17.
The terror group plans to highlight the ways attacks can be made given the dearth of security compared to airplanes, the Times reported.
"The trailer highlights that derailments are simple to design using easily available materials, that such a planned attack can be hard to detect, and that the outcome can substantially damage a country's transportation sector and the Western economy in general," the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported Friday.
Al-Qaida's tease to the article, a trailer, focuses on subway trains and displays devices that could be used to derail a train, the Times reported.
