Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-N.Y., said Thursday that constituents of his fellow New York legislator were calling his office over the Republican effort to repeal Obamacare.
Rep. John Faso, R-N.Y., said Thursday that he would vote yes on the Republican healthcare plan.
"After careful review of the changes to the American Health Care Act, I believe that this legislation addresses my concerns and I will support the AHCA as amended," he said, according to The Hill.
Later that day, Maloney claimed a largely negative response from Faso's constituents.
The House narrowly passed the American Health Care Act Thursday afternoon. Faso was not among the 20 "no" votes from the GOP.
