Longtime Republican political operative Roger Stone is fundraising for his legal defense following his arrest early Friday morning, Mediaite reports.

Stone, who was arrested on charges of obstruction, witness tampering, and making false statements, appeared before a federal judge in Florida late Friday morning. Before then, his staff uploaded a picture to Stone’s Instagram account referencing the movie “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” asking “Who framed Roger Stone?”

Stone’s staff commented, “This morning's news is deeply saddening. Robert Mueller's early morning raid was straight out of the gestapo's playbook. We must fight for Roger Stone... now more than ever. If they can do this to Roger... they are coming for us next!”

The staff included a link to a website for Stone’s legal defense fund.

Stone has been released on a $250,000 bond, according to the Washington Examiner.
