Retired Army Lt. Col. Ralph Peters blasted Hillary Clinton in her use of a private email system Friday, saying she "robbed Fort Knox."
Peters compared Clinton, who is being investigated by the FBI over her use of a private email address and server during her time as secretary of state, to retired Gen. David Petraeus, who pled guilty to mishandling classified information last year and was sentenced to two years probation and was fined $100,000.
"David Petraeus stole a candy bar. Hillary Clinton robbed Fort Knox," Peters told Fox Business Network.
Peters was asked about a report this week that claimed several of the Clinton emails that have been flagged by the State Department talked about specific
drone strikes before the strikes occurred.
Peters thinks Clinton's home-based server was hacked, which would have exposed the operational details about the strikes.
"As a former intelligence officer, I can guarantee you people were in her private server," Peters said. "One of the things The Wall Street Journal article featured was a Clinton supporter saying, 'there's no evidence that anybody was reading her emails.' Good intelligence agencies don't leave footprints. You don't know they're reading your stuff."
