Since the accusations against Harvey Weinstein were made public on Oct. 5, almost 100 powerful people have been accused of similar behavior, a rate of nearly once every 20 hours, the Los Angeles Times reports.
In October, The New York Times published an expose on the allegations against Weinstein.
Since then, the number of accusers has jumped to 84, and while Weinstein has denied "any allegations of non-consensual sex," he has lost his position on the board of the Weinstein Co., the Directors Guild of America, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In the months since, 97 other figures have been accused of sexual harassment or assault, as cataloged by the LA Times in its new project. Of that number, 51 work in arts and entertainment, 21 in media, 18 in politics, four in hospitality, and four in sports, technology or other industries.
The most recent person on the list is President Donald Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, against whom singer Joy Villa filed a sexual assault complaint on Dec. 26.
