Just 4 percent of millennials trust Facebook all of the time compared to 23 percent who say they never trust the social media platform to do the right thing, according to a poll by Harvard's Institute of Politics.
Other results:
- 22 percent of millennials say they trust Facebook most of the time.
- 48 percent say they trust Facebook some of the time.
By comparison, 45 percent of millennials overall say they trust Amazon, and 44 percent say they trust Google all or most of the time, according to the survey.
Meanwhile, 14 percent say they never trust Amazon, and 15 percent said the same about Google, according to the poll.
The poll was taken weeks before news broke that the the personal data of nearly 100 million Facebook users had been mined by Cambridge Analytica.
