GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan is using images from fictional commander-in-chief Frank Underwood to bash President Barack Obama's last-ditch drive to shutter the military prison at Guantanamo Bay.

"This president has a limited appreciation of the constitutional role of Congress, so perhaps he'll heed the advice of a fellow Democratic president (even a pretend one) more closely," the Wisconsin lawmaker explains about the posted images from the popular Netflix series "House of Cards."

Ryan refutes the president's claim his plan to close a facility that houses terrorists isn't dangerous, that it's bipartisan — and that it has a chance in Congress.

"President Underwood is right on this one," Ryan writes of one clip showing the character breaking the fourth wall with a skeptical shake of his head at the audience.

"President Obama should join him — and the majority of Congress — in closing the door on any plan that would move terrorist detainees to American soil," Ryan writes.
