Miss Alabama Meg McGuffin called GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump an "entertainer" during her Miss America Q&A session and said the party should be "terrified" of all the attention he is getting.
McGuffin, who finished the pageant as fourth runner-up on Sunday night, was asked by judge Taya Kyle why she thinks Trump is leading the Republican field by such a large margin.
"I think Donald Trump is an entertainer, and I think he says what's on a lot of people's minds," McGuffin answered as the crowd cheered.
"But I think that the Republican Party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention that he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie who could absolutely do the job of president of the United States," she continued. "And if I were a Republican, I would absolutely be terrified of that."

As of Monday afternoon, Trump, who recently
bought out NBC's interest in his rival Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants only to
sell the operation to WWE/IMG on Monday, had not responded.
McGuffin told
AL.com she is proud of her answer.
"I was just praying that I was given the right words to say so that I didn't end up a YouTube sensation," McGuffin told the website. "I didn't want to become famous for being a bad representation of myself or the state of Alabama."
Regardless of Trump's response, McGuffin said she is happy with how she answered.
"I'm proud of the way that I answered my question because it reflects my beliefs and who I am," she said. "I hope that maybe, if anything, my answer shed some light on the fact that Donald Trump does not have any ties to the Miss America organization and I think that's something that so few people understand."
