Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel slammed "Saturday Night Live" in a tweet on Sunday for mocking President Donald Trump in a spoof of "It's a Wonderful Life."

“Will liberals in Hollywood ever recognize that life is better for millions of Americans under @realDonaldTrump? Wages are up, unemployment is down, and industries like manufacturing are booming after years of decline,” McDaniel wrote.

McDaniel was responding to the episode which portrayed what life would be like if Trump had never been elected.

Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, is shown a world where he lost the 2016 election, and special counsel Robert Mueller spends more time with his grandson, his former lawyer Michael Cohen doesn't go to prison and Vice President Pence becomes a DJ.

Trump himself had earlier on Sunday bashed Saturday Night Life in a tweet of his own.

“A REAL scandal is the one sided coverage, hour by hour, of networks like NBC & Democrat spin machines like Saturday Night Live,” Trump wrote in the tweet. “It is all nothing less than unfair news coverage and Dem commercials. Should be tested in courts, can’t be legal? Only defame & belittle! Collusion?”
