A Trump supporter is alleging bouncers from a Latin nightclub in Washington, D.C., kicked him and his friends out for wearing "Make America Great Again" hats.
"We had a couple people try to take our hats off," George McIntyre said in a video he posted Sunday night on Twitter. "One of our hats was stolen. Seriously, they called the police for us. They're waiting for us to leave. I got the bouncer recorded trying to kick us out for our hats, just because we were wearing Make America Great Again hats."
The video was shot inside Café Citron, a Latin restaurant and lounge. Latin music is playing in the background and McIntyre seems to be confronted by a bouncer. The conversation is difficult to hear, but, at one point, the bouncer tells McIntyre to "take your hat off and go outside, or stay and take your hat off."
McIntyre, who describes himself as an activist on his Twitter page, told the Daily Caller other people in the bar were trying to knock off his hat. He also said the police were called, but a report was not filed.
"By the time we got out, there were police there," McIntyre explained. "They were lined up waiting for us to leave. Maybe they thought it was a disturbance. It was maybe a five-second interaction with the police. I just thanked them for coming out."
