Anthony Scaramucci might have lost a plum job as White House communications director after only 11 days, but things are as bad for him as they look on paper: His alma mater has listed him as dead in its updated directory.
The Washington Post reported the Harvard Law School directory was issued last week, just as Scaramucci was taking on his new assignment for President Donald Trump — and insulting co-workers right and left.
But the Harvard directory had a wound of its own for Scaramucci: An asterisk next to his name indicated he had died since the last time it was published in 2011.
The firebrand Scaramucci, known by friends as "the Mooch," is alive — even if his career is not so well — and the Post reported Harvard Law was embarrassed and apologetic.
"Regrettably, there is an error in the Harvard Law School alumni directory in the listing for Anthony Scaramucci," a spokeswoman said. "We offer our sincere apologies to Mr. Scaramucci. The error will be corrected in subsequent editions."
