Renowned economist Larry Kudlow says every presidential candidate should agree to take four pledges to strengthen their bids. They are:
- I won't raise taxes;
- I won't give bail-outs;
- I won't federalize education;
- I will overturn President Barack Obama's executive action on immigration.
"There should be a no-bail-out pledge with respect to banks and corporations … no tax hikes," Kudlow, a CNBC senior contributor, said Tuesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

And as far as the president's plan to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, "this is extra-legal, it's extra-Constitutional, and you can't govern that way," he said.
And the federal government — now mired in the controversial Common Core program — should stay out of the business of education, according to Kudlow.
Kudlow said he's interested in some of Jeb Bush's remarks about how he would remake the nation's immigration policies.
"He's saying his immigration policy would be … on an economic or skills base. Not a family base," Kudlow said.
"For years we've done it on a family base, so your ninth cousin, your 22nd niece and so forth can all come into America and you'll never see them again. That's crazy."
Kudlow — who also hosts the nationally syndicated radio program, "The Larry Kudlow Show" — says all candidates should sign the "Taxpayer Protection Pledge," touted by Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.
It's a promise to oppose increases in income tax rates for businesses and individuals.
