Kanye West debuted a new song on Friday that further illustrates his public support for President Donald Trump, CNN reported.
West's song, "Ye vs. The People," introduced on Los Angeles radio station Power 106, features a debate with Tip "T.I." Harris, an Atlanta-based rapper, who has been vocal in his criticism of police brutality.
"I know Obama was Heaven sent, but ever since Trump won, it proved that I could be president," West raps.
"Make America Great Again had a negative reception. I took it, wore it, rocked it gave it a new direction. Added empathy, care and love and affection, and y'all simply questionin' my methods," he continues.
T.I. responds with "This s**t is stubborn, selfish, bullheaded, even for you."
When West laments that "All Blacks gotta be Democrats," T.I. counters, "F*** who you choose as your political party, you representin' dudes just seem crude and cold-hearted."
West made headlines in a series of tweets in support of President Donald Trump beginning on Wednesday in statements including, "You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother."
"I haven't done enough research on conservatives to call myself or be called one. I'm just refusing to be enslaved by monolithic thought," West tweeted Friday.
While Trump was quick to embrace West's support, the rapper was criticized by fellow celebrities, with some questioning his mental health. The critics, however, did not cause West to back down.
"Thank you Kanye, very cool!" Trump tweeted.
West also posted a picture of a "Make America Great Again" hat with Trump's signature.
