WikiLeaks' Julian Assange connected Marine Le Pen's loss in the French presidential election and Hillary Clinton's in November to "patriarchy's grip" and questioned sexism in politics.
He then asked his Twitter followers if sexism had a role in Le Pen's loss:
Earlier this month, Assange tweeted a response to Clinton, after the former candidate said WikiLeaks were part of the reason she lost to President Donald Trump, telling her to "blame yourself" for losing.
WikiLeaks recently published a series of leaks from the party of Le Pen's opponent, president-elect Emmanuel Macron, En Marche!. The organization defended the decision saying there wasn't enough time before the election for the leaks to make an impact.
