President Donald Trump touted the results of a recent poll Tuesday, noting that the majority of Hispanics said they are better off now than they were under former President Barack Obama.
Trump tweeted this:
The Emerson College ePoll, the results of which were published Monday, drew the following conclusions:
- 42 percent of voters said they are better off now than under Obama, compared to 26 percent who said they are worse off.
- 49 percent of males and 36 percent of females said they are better off under Trump than Obama.
- 62 percent of Hispanics said they are better off now as opposed to under Obama, while 25 percent said they were worse off.
The poll touched on several other topics, including Russia. Thirty-four percent of voters said Russia is the No. 1 foreign adversary of the United States, followed by China (21 percent) and North Korea (18 percent).
