Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist told
Newsmax TV on Friday that Hillary Clinton's calls for taxing guns proved that her politics is outdated and out of touch with American voters.

"Thirteen-million Americans have conceal-carry permits active in the United States," he said. "Maybe they all live in Wyoming? No."
He added that 1.5 million conceal-carry permits were held by residents in Florida — a "swing state" — and 1 million in Pennsylvania, also a "swing state."
Ohio has 460,000 permit holders, while 600,000 live in Michigan, Norquist added, referencing Clinton's remarks during the Democratic debate Sunday at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
"These are swing states. She insults gun owners and tells them they don't know what they're doing and they're dangerous.
Clinton's thinking is that "we have to try everything that works to try and limit the number of people and the kinds of people who are given access to firearms," Norquist told Berliner. She's not just talking about "bad people," he explained, but the mass of ordinary citizens.
