Former national security adviser Michael Flynn, embroiled in the Russia investigation, has put his Virginia home up for sale in order to help cover his mounting legal costs, his family told ABC News.
Flynn's three-bedroom townhouse in Old Town Alexandria is listed at $895,000, ABC reports.
Flynn pleaded guilty of lying to the FBI in December regarding his contacts with Russian officials.
"I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this has been a trying experience" Joe Flynn, Michael's youngest brother, told ABC News. "It has been crucible and it's not over."
Flynn was President Donald Trump's NSA for just 24 days before the president was forced to fire him for lying to the administration and the vice president about his contacts with Russian officials during the campaign.
Flynn retreated to his hometown of Middletown, Rhode Island, after the ouster, ABC reports.
