A 67-year-old man died Saturday from injuries sustained in a four-alarm fire on the 50th floor of Trump Tower in New York City, according to news reports.
The man, identified by NYPD as Todd Brassner, was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, DailyMail.com reports.
New York City Police Department officials said the man was a resident of a Trump Tower apartment, the site reported.
Four firefighters also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
President Donald Trump has an office and home in the building, but he was in Washington on Saturday.
The blaze broke out in an apartment after 5:30 p.m., New York City Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro said.

"The apartment was virtually, entirely on fire," Nigro told a news conference at the scene on Fifth Avenue.
"They were knocking down the fire, they found one occupant," he said.
Two-hundred firefighters and emergency personnel were dispatched, he said.
"This was a very difficult fire," Nigro said. "As you can imagine, the apartment is quite large, we are 50 stories up.
"The rest of the building had a considerable amount of smoke.
"We found fire on the 50th floor of the building," the commissioner continued. "The apartment was entirely on fire.
"Members pushed in heroically, they were knocking down the fire."
President Trump later tweeted that the fire was "out" and had been "very confined."
He also said firefighters "did a great job."
The president's son, Eric Trump, also tweeted thanks to first responders:
