Eric Trump lashed out at Democrats on Wednesday, saying they are resorting to accusations of racism against his father because they have "no message for the American people."
The president's son made his comments on "Fox & Friends."
"This is the most hate-filled group I've ever seen before," he said.
"Name calling is not going to work when you have the greatest economy that's ever existed in the U.S., you have the lowest unemployment … People are doing awesome."
Asked about the president's "go back" tweet over the weekend, Trump responded: "I love the tweet, if you don't love our country, leave."
Democrats have charged the president's comments were "racist."
But Eric Trump said: "I'm not saying America doesn't have problems. Go see the conditions around the world and you'll [feel] so fortunate to live here. We are blessed to live in this country."
Host Brian Kilmeade asked whether the president should have stayed out of the fight between Pelosi and the so-called "squad," consisting of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.
"Nancy Pelosi used to be the far left fringe of the Democratic Party," he said. "Now, she's like a moderate. This isn't the party of JFK anymore. This is literally a radical, socialist party that doesn't relate to everyday Americans."
