President Donald Trump is a "counter-puncher" and "fighter," skills that have been missing in the White House for years, Eric Trump told Newsmax TV.
The younger Trump was on "The Joe Pags Show" on Tuesday evening and was asked about his father's often-fiery responses to his critics — including porn star Stormy Daniels, who Trump called "horseface" in a tweet Tuesday morning, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who Trump has labeled "Pocahontas" over her controversial claims of being Native American.
"He's a fighter – he's a counter-puncher when somebody does something that he thinks is dishonest or unethical or not right or however you want to classify both of those individuals," Eric Trump said.
"Here, Elizabeth Warren lied about her ancestry to try to get a job and to get into college. It's disgusting. It's absolutely disgusting. We should expect so much more and people should be called out for it."

Eric Trump did admit his father's penchant for hitting back sometimes costs him, but that is the type of person he is.
"Is that sometimes to his detriment? Probably," Eric Trump said. "But I don't know how you change somebody's DNA. We didn't have a fighter in the White House for a long, long time. And it's nice to have a fighter there again. That's why we're winning these type of wars.
"Does it make you step on your feet once in a while? Does it maybe trip you up once in a while? Sure. But you want that personality. You want the person who will swing back when they feel that they're being taken advantage of, where they're being used."
