How would you like to pay $6 for a McDonald's Big Mac during peak lunchtime hours but only $4 in the late afternoon?

How about shelling out $1,200 for a round-trip plane ticket between New York and Los Angeles three days before Christmas, but just $500 in September? Does being charged $120 for an Uber ride from a concert that would normally be $80 seem fair?
