MSNBC host Donny Deutsch said Thursday that his "Saturday Night Politics" program will end after just 13 episodes.
The last episode was Aug. 17.
"With summer coming to a close, so does my season run on MSNBC w/ @SNPonMSNBC," Deutsch said on Twitter. "I'm beyond grateful for all of your help in making it @MSNBC's highest-rated Saturday night program EVER! So surreal!
"I'll see you all on @Morning_Joe @DeadlineWH, and across MSNBC very soon," he said.
Deutsch, 61, a marketing expert who often attacked President Donald Trump on air, began his Saturday show in May.
The show's ratings never improved after debuting with 919,000 viewers that month, The Hill reports.
"Saturday Night Politics" never caught up to its cable time-slot's leader, Fox News' "Watters World" — generally showing up as a distant second — but it placed third in the important 25-54 demographic advertisers are most interested in, after "CNN Newsroom."
MSNBC will show reruns of the Friday edition of "All In with Chris Hayes" in the time slot, The Hill reports.
