President Donald Trump officially hosted but ultimately skipped the Passover Seder organized by Jewish White House staffers Monday night, Haaretz reported.

The president did, however, tweet a greeting to all who celebrated Passover:

Trump's absence broke a string of eight consecutive Seders hosted and attended by former President Barack Obama — the first sitting president to do so — and his family.

Also notable in their absence were Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, who are Jewish.
