President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he "may" pay a visit to San Diego, California to see the various prototypes of his proposed border wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Just outside of San Diego, half-a-dozen construction companies have built eight prototypes for the border wall Trump campaigned on.
"I may be going there very shortly to look at them in their final form," Trump said in a Cabinet meeting before a group of reporters, The Washington Post reports.
"We have a lot of help from the Border Patrol and from the ICE agents," Trump said, according to CNN. "We're getting their input on the wall, because who knows better than them."
He added, "we want vision, we want to be able to see through who is on the other side of the wall, and we have some wonderful prototypes that have been put up."
