President Donald Trump will hold a teleconference with the military Thursday morning to mark the Thanksgiving holiday.
The White House released its guidance and press schedule for Thanksgiving Day and revealed Trump's plans to talk with the troops.
"The president participates in a Thanksgiving teleconference with members of the military" at 9 a.m., the bulletin reads.
Trump is at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida with his family for Thanksgiving. No other details were revealed about the teleconference.
Trump has yet to visit U.S. troops in a war zone during his presidency. The former Navy SEAL who fired the shots that killed Osama bin Laden said Tuesday that Trump should make such a trip a priority.
Responding to criticisms, Trump said he will, in fact, visit a war zone as president.
