Like-father-like-first-son, Donald Trump, Jr., took to Twitter on New Year's Eve to celebrate his 40th birthday — and to make his "annual pre-apology" for the "overreaction" he expected to his 2018 posts.
With his social media jab, the younger Trump continues to showcase his inherited knack for brash — as illustrated in a tweet ahead of passage of the GOP's tax code overhaul mocking detractors' concern about the plan's deadly effect.
The first son also retweeted a jab at Hillary Clinton after the Democrats' surprise upset in the Alabama special Senate election — along with the hashtag ThingsITrustMoreThanCNN, echoing his dad's "fake news CNN" insult.
