GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Wednesday he will deport Syrian refugees if elected.

"I'm putting the people on notice coming here from Syria as part of mass migration, if I win, if I win, they are going back," Trump said during his appearance in Keene, New Hampshire.

"They are going back, I'm telling you."

Trump has long said he would immediately deport illegal immigrants in the country then have them re-apply to come in legally.

The tens of thousands of refugees fleeing war in Syria would not be in the country illegally, but critics have said the screening process to keep out potential terrorists – part of the reason for the mass migration – is too lengthy and inadequate.
