A man protesting Donald Trump's views on immigration who wound up in a scuffle with a security guard for the GOP presidential front-runner now reportedly may face charges in the confrontation.
The New York Times reports the Trump campaign is considering pressing charges against a man identified by NY1 as Efrain Galicia, who ran after the guard who snatched away his sign reading: "Make America Racist Again," at a protest in front of the Trump Tower.
The guard hit Galicia in the face during the Thursday scuffle, which was caught on video by
NY1.
Galicia alleged the guard was the same man who
escorted Univision reporter Jorge Ramos out of Trump's news conference last month, the Times reports.
The Trump campaign told the Times the security team member was "jumped from behind" and that the campaign would "likely be pressing charges."
