Donald Trump will be making his first appearance on "Fox News Sunday" since announcing his bid for the White House in June,
Deadline Hollywood reports.
Trump, the GOP front-runner, has appeared on the other Sunday shows, NBC's "Meet the Press," CBS' "Face the Nation," ABC's "This Week" and CNN's "State of the Union." But some of those appearances have been by telephone, and "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace does not allow for phone-in interviews of presidential candidates on his program.
As a result, Trump hasn't been on "Fox News Sunday" at all.
Additionally, Wallace was one of the three moderators of the first GOP debate in early August whom Trump accused of being unfair to him. Trump has since appeared on "Special Report" with another moderator of that debate, Bret Baier.
He has not yet appeared with the third moderator, Megyn Kelly. A major dust-up between Trump and Fox News
ensued after Trump told CNN the day after the debate that blood was coming out of Kelly's eyes and "out of her wherever."
That was interpreted by many to be a reference to hormones, though Trump denied that, noting that he also said blood was coming from Wallace's eyes.
Trump also told CNN that Wallace is "only a tiny fraction" of the newsman his father, legendary CBS reporter Mike Wallace, was.
This Sunday's sit-down interview will be pre-taped on Saturday at Trump National Golf Club near Washington, D.C.
