The D.C. Council jabbed President Donald Trump over his failed plans for a military parade.

In a Wednesday tweet the city council noted schools were open in the district despite the possibility of snow, but it playfully said “the Giant Tank Parade” was still canceled.

The council wrote: “The Council will open on time today. D.C. Public Schools will too. Ditto the D.C. Government. The Giant Tank Parade: Still cancelled.”

Trump had raised the idea of a military parade several times, but canceled all planning in August 2018 after officials put the price tag at $92 million, according to The Hill.

At the time, he placed the blame on “local politicians” in D.C. for the high costs.
