Congressional members will get intelligence briefings about Russian hack attacks during the presidential election, Politico reported.

The briefings will be held Thursday with Senate members and on Friday with members of the House, the outlet reported, citing unnamed sources.

Those talking to U.S. senators will be Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA director John Brennan, and National Security Agency chief Admiral Mike Rogers, Politico reported.

The news comes a day after it was reported a full intel report given to given to President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump also including a summary of allegations that Russian President Vladimir Putin's government had collected compromising material about Trump.

Trump has blasted the allegations as "nonsense."
