The 60-year-old American woman killed in London's Russell Square knife attack  Wednesday night has been identified as Darlene Horton, the wife of Florida State University psychology professor Richard Wagner, the Tallahassee Democrat reported Thursday.

"There are no words to express our heartache over this terrible tragedy," FSU President John Thrasher told the paper. "We are shocked that such senseless violence has touched our own FSU family, and we will do all we can to assist Professor Wagner and his loved ones, as well as his friends and colleagues in the Psychology department, as they mourn."

The couple had been in London for the summer study aboard program and was planning to return home to Tallahasee on Thursday, according to the report. Russell Square is just blocks from the FSU Study Centre in London.

Four of the six stabbing victims have been treated and released from the hospital, while one London man is listed in critical but stable condition, according to The Independent in London.

The paper reported mental health was a "significant factor" in the attack, not terrorism, and a 19-year-old Norwegian of Somali descent has been arrested.
