Republicans in 10 House districts are reportedly in the crosshairs of a million-dollar ad blitz funded by the conservative Club for Growth over the failed Obamacare repeal effort.
The ad campaign announced Monday will roll out in two phases, The Hill reported – with a national buy starting Tuesday and targeted ads in 10 House districts launching Thursday.
The Hill reported the moderate GOP lawmakers who'll be called out will include Reps. Chris Collins of New York and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois; others were not disclosed by Club for Growth President David McIntosh.
"Our message is come on board and meet this promise you and your party had made," McIntosh said in announcing the strategy, The Hill reported.
Though lawmakers are on a two-week recess, McIntosh said talks are ongoing and "there could be movement at any moment" on legislation, The Hill reported.
