Pop princess Britney Spears' Israel concert is reportedly delaying a primary election vote.
A Labor Party spokesperson told The Times of Israel the decision to delay the July 3 vote for a new party leader by one day would “make it easier for people to reach polling stations" in Tel Aviv, telling the newspaper there has been "difficulty in recruiting security guards” for the originally scheduled day.
The 35-year-old singer was mpt mentioned by name in an election committee announcement that declared: "The election date was delayed by one day due to the fact that there is a major event at Yarkon Park on July 3, 2017," Jerusalem Online reported.
A spokesman for incumbent party chair, Isaac Herzog, told the Times of Israel he wasn't aware of any plans for Herzog to attend the event.
Spears posted a video on Instagram of her workout to stay in shape for her current Las Vegas gig.
