Jewish leaders and civil-liberty groups warn the anti-Israeli divestiture campaigns springing up on college and university campuses nationwide appear to be fueling anti-Semitic attitudes.

Leaders of the U.S. Jewish community, still reeling from the murderous October rampage at a Pittsburgh synagogue that left 11 dead -- the worst anti-Semitic violence in the nation’s history -- say the dangerous trend must be stopped before it mushrooms.
