Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci warned Monday of "a vacuum of leadership inside the White House," saying that President Donald Trump has rid his administration of all dissenting voices.
"He's more or less moved out everybody that could potentially disagree with him or offer some level of dissent," Scaramucci, who served 10 days before he was fired by then-Chief of Staff John Kelly, told CNN "New Day."
He also ripped President Trump for sending "military threats over Twitter" in light of his "locked and loaded" response to a drone attack Saturday on Saudi Arabia's oil fields.
"It's a precarious situation," Scaramucci said. "It's very, very serious."
U.S. officials released satellite images Monday of the damage to the Saudi's critical Abqaiq oil processing plant and a key oil field — and two officials said the attacker used multiple cruise missiles and drone aircraft.
Trump administration officials alleged that the pattern of destruction suggested that the attack did not come from neighboring Yemen, as claimed by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.
A Saudi military spokesman later made a similar accusation, alleging "Iranian weapons" had been used in the assault.
