Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., will announce Sunday whether she is running for president in 2020.
"I'm making a big announcement on Sunday,” she tweeted Tuesday night as she directed people to RSVP on her website.
During an interview on MSNBC following President Donald Trump's State of the Union address, she said: "O.K., so Sunday come to Boom Island (Park) in Minneapolis, as in Boom Island drop the mic, and then you'll find out.
"It's going to be a little cold, 20 degrees. Wear warm clothes, maybe have little heat warmers with you, but then you'll find out my decision."
In January, Klobuchar said her family is on board with her running for president if she chooses to enter the race.
And Politico noted she is taking steps that look as if she is establishing the foundation for a presidential run, including a planned trip to Iowa later this month.
