An eighth woman came forward accusing Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., of sexual misconduct, writing in The Atlantic the Democratic lawmaker groped her during a photo opportunity in 2009.
"I believe the women who have told their stories about Al Franken, because he groped me, too," writes Tina Dupuy.
Dupuy, a progressive radio host and former communications director for Congressman Alan Grayson, said the incident took place at a Media Matters party during the first Obama inauguration.
She asked Franken for a photo because she said she knew it would make her foster mom happy.
"She loves Franken, so I asked to get a picture with him," Dupuy wrote. "We posed for the shot. He immediately put his hand on my waist, grabbing a handful of flesh. I froze. Then he squeezed. At least twice."
"I'd been married for two years at the time; I don't let my husband touch me like that in public because I believe it diminishes me as a professional woman," she added. "Al Franken's familiarity was inappropriate and unwanted. It was also quick; he knew exactly what he was doing."
Franken is facing calls to resign from a majority of Democratic senators.
"While Sen. Franken is entitled to have the Ethics Committee conclude its review, I believe it would be better for our country if he sent a clear message that any kind of mistreatment of women in our society isn't acceptable by stepping aside to let someone else serve," Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York said in a Facebook post.
