If you pay any close attention at all to the mainstream media, Big Tech, large corporations you'll soon see a consistent pattern of censorship of conservative thought.
This is especially so with those orgnizations who have gone "woke."
The examples abound and, sadly, are growing: whether it be social media silencing of thought leaders, Apple removing conservative social media application alternatives from their stores, or simply large news organizations not covering significant stories, those shining a light on the the president, or his family, regarding questionable business activities.
It's becoming quickly evident that a majority of the mainstream media exists for the purpose of competing against conservatives.

That "competiton" seems to profilgate in the upper echelon of politically-oriented mediums. DirecTV has now taken this concept a step further.
Nearly one year after removing the conservative leaning One America News Network (OANN), from their channel lineup, DirecTV decided to drop Newsmax, a conservative-leaning outlet.
While DirecTV is arguing that both decisions were based upon non-negotiable contractual terms, the sense from Newsmax is that the provider wanted conservative voices, reporting, and voices silenced across their medium and perhaps thinks that both the Biden administration and other Democratic politicians had a significant influence regarding its decision to remove the network from its channel lineup.
A group of senators: Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and Mike Lee, R-Utah, called for an investigation into DirecTV, to evaluate whether or not the federal government had any influence or say in the company removing the network, declaring, "The silencing of conservative speech at the request of government officials is a direct assault on free speech and a threat to democracy."
In the past, Sens. Cruz and Lee especially have been hesitant to support or forward any legislation that would question these types of decisions; but this seems to be a much different situation if the federal government had anything to do with the two networks being taken off DirecTV.
This is a fight Republicans need to be well-armed and prepared for, all the way down to the home, and ultimately, final stretch.
Many Republicans have refused to fight this sort of battle, the excuse being government should not interfere in boardroom/management decisions made by private companies.
This, they feel, supports the philosophy and operation of a free market.
However, the type of approach these senators have brought forth is sustainable because of the advocacy to remove governmental influence from corporate control of free speech.
In the same way Elon Musk has worked to fight extensive tech censorship of free speech since taking the reins at Twitter, Republicans who are working in the federal government need to ensure that there is no collusion between the government and private companies when deciding which voices are heard or silenced.
It's a hard argument to sell to voters that just because Republicans support the free market means they have to then sit back and witness conservatives continue to have their voices silenced, especially if it's due to the federal government telling corportations to do so.
Big Tech is not only silencing free speech on their platforms but decreasing the public's choice in hearing conservative opinions, if they choose to do so.
It's one thing to pick and choose which individuals have violated the policy of a particular code of ethics determined by a private company, but to remove two entire networks because of how they choose to report the news or disseminate alternative opinions is an even worse outcome for our nation's political discourse. It's dangerous.
By removing two of the four most conservative-leaning media companies, DirecTV is effectively silencing free speech of an entire, completely legitimate political philosophy.
While it can be argued that Big Tech is working against conservative voices, a proper investigation should be launched to ensure if there was actual interference or influence by federal government officials, over companies like DirecTV.
It's not pro-big government to investigate the connection between government and private companies if it means they have a political bias, a bias demonstrated by impinging upon speech platforms.
It would be a giant step forward for the GOP if this connection were probed and proven by both U.S. Senate and U.S. House Republicans.
At this critical time in our nation's history, what do you think?
