Frank Donatelli - Biography
Frank Donatelli is the chairman of GOPAC, the Republican Party's pre-eminent education and election center dedicated exclusively to Republicans seeking state and local offices. Founded in 1979, GOPAC educates and elects a new generation of Republican leaders. Today, GOPAC is ranked in the top 10 most influential state focused 527-political committees.
Chairman Donatelli was asked by Sen. John McCain to serve as the deputy chairman of the Republican National Committee during the 2008 presidential elections. His previous appointments have included serving as an assistant to President Ronald Reagan for political and intergovernmental affairs and as deputy assistant to the president for public liaison at the White House.
Donatelli also served on White House Chief of Staff James Baker's team that negotiated the 1984 presidential debates, a role he reprised as a senior adviser to Bob Dole in 1996. He was active in the presidential campaign of George H.W. Bush.
