Palin Set for First Trip to Israel

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is joining the list of potential Republican presidential candidates who have traveled to Israel. She will make her first visit there next week to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a Palin aide told Politico.

palin, israel, tripPalin’s husband Todd will accompany her, and they will stay in the country for two days. They plan to see Jerusalem's Old City and holy sites in Nazareth. Before going to Israel, Palin will give a speech in New Delhi to a conference of Indian business bigwigs and politicians.

The other possible presidential candidates who have recently journeyed to Israel include Haley Barbour, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani.

As for Palin, she also is reportedly considering a journey to London.
